We are a FREE local non-for-profit community newspaper delivered to every house in Maltby and the surrounding areas of Hellaby, Sunnyside, Bramley and Wickersley.

Our pages reflect our local community and the local economy. Our editorial team are happy to take calls from individuals and businesses who have stories to tell.

Since the inception of the maltby.news we have prided ourselves on our newspaper being something a little different from other local newspapers. We are keen to publish 'upbeat' news, showing the positive news from the local community, for example, council news, school stories, people raising money for charity, local sporting events and activities.

We are keen to support our local community, publicising the great things the people in our local area are doing. Our positive outlook ensures that we are popular with local businesses who choose us to promote their services. We care about the businesses who advertise in the newspaper producing relevantly placed ads designed to a high quality, which stand out to our readers.


Our distribution area

The map below illustrates the main areas we distribute to within the Wentworth Valley. Maltby is our primary distribution area and we aim to distrubute to every house within Maltby and then outwards throughout the neighbouring areas shown on the map. We also have collection points at local service centres, and Tesco in Maltby. We have calculated we will reach an audience of over £25,000 readers.
